How healthy food and weight loss go hand in hand
If you want to lose weight. So your priority is conditioning your brain to eat healthy food because loosing weight is synonymous with eating a healthy diet.
We live in a world where traditional foods are McDonald's and Jack in the Box; However, healthy weight loss programs can never succeed as long as these culprits are part of our diet. We prepare our children to eat at these places and they condition their children, and before we know it we live among an entire generation of people who are overweight or obese. No wonder the obesity rate is at an all-time high. However, this chain of events will not change until we change our eating habits.
Weight loss cannot be achieved if we do not change our mindset first, which will eventually translate into better and healthier eating habits.
Healthy food and weight loss are like a stable marriage, one spouse complements the other. In a good marriage, spouses keep an eye on each other and should criticize each other about good and bad habits including eating habits.
Oftentimes, one spouse allows the other spouse to “indulge in the bloat” and this has caused divorce and separation as well as mental and physical abuse in relationships, all due to poor eating habits.
We have to seriously monitor what we eat by finding out which foods cause love, bloating, and fat gain. Knowledge is only half the battle but abstaining from fast-food restaurants, processed foods and trans fats are battles within. All of these foods have the potential to cause negative effects on your weight and overall health.
If healthy food and weight loss are part of our lives, abstaining from things we know cause harm to our bodies should be our practice and habits.
Let's consider the effects that a fixed diet of fast-food restaurants has on our health and the health of our children. This healthy food and weight loss come in handy, and if we are not willing to abstain from fast-food restaurants constantly when we put ourselves and our children at risk for some very serious problems in the present and the distant future.
It should come as no surprise to us that fast-food restaurants have a stifling hold on the necks of our young people and it should come as no surprise that weight gain and type 2 diabetes are now more prevalent in our youth.
The reason for this is the excessive amounts of calories in fast food which also leads to a higher concentration of refined fats and sugar; Not to mention the use of frequently reheated (hydrogenated) oils to prepare processed foods, which have a crippling effect on the blood vessels.
This is a big problem not only during our younger years but the effect gets worse for years and becomes responsible for many health issues because we choose not to eat healthy food for weight loss and overall good health.
